Junk Journaling
A junk journal is a one-stop-shop for creative practice!
In junk journaling, anything goes. A junk journal is a place to capture your ideas, and to value what inspires you. One of the perks to practicing creative decisions in a small book is getting to learn about composition and how to bring balance to a spread. You will get to play with color, perspective, and mark making. Using a junk journal is a playful and accessible way to get to know your Creative Self. This class will focus on choosing the right book and prepping book pages, collecting and creating collage papers, and adding layers of collage and paint to our journals.
Materials Needed: Inexpensive, small Book for repurposing*, Mixed collage papers, Embellishments, Trinkets, Junk Mail, Stickers, etc… (Adhesives, mark making tools and collage papers available in studio) *Ready to use journals available for purchase
